In 2008 we participated in the Sustainable Business Network's Get Sustainable Challenge. The programme involved sitting down and considering our commitment to sustainability across our organisation. The eight areas the Get Sustainable Challenge focussed on were:

- Future Thinking
- Resources
- Staff
- Business Systems
- Products and Services
- Relationship and Influence
- Communication
It was an incredibly valuable exercise and we came out of it both inspired to do more and with a great report listing further initiatives and ideas for us. Some of these include measuring our energy and water use and waste production more closely and looking at further ideas around composting of waste.

This year we will also be using the new Get Sussed Online tool which has been developed by the Sustainable Business Network. Not as in depth as the get sustainable challenge it will allow us to continue benchmarking our business on a 6 monthly level and measure our progress.
