I have worked for Tasman Bay Vets – and formerly Motueka Vet Services - for ten years as relief staff. My husband David and I “retired” to this area after farming our family property in Southland for 32 years. I qualified as a vet nurse by distance learning at Otago Polytech during this time. I did it for my own interest – never dreaming that it would lead to the wonderful job I have today.
I particularly enjoy reception work and helping clients and their pets. I am a keen supporter of the work of Motueka SPCA. For anyone who loves animals it is a great way to be involved and make a difference to their welfare.
David and I have a daughter and three sons, and seven wonderful grandchildren. Travelling to visit them all keeps us busy.
We also have Maisie – a red Dachshund and we recently re-homed another dog – Lulu, who is a chocolate Dachs.
