I joined Tasman Bay Vets in 2008 and am thoroughly enjoying the animal health industry. I have always loved animals and have had a pet of some kind since I can remember, coming from a family of animal lovers!
I mainly manage the business end of the clinic but I enjoy the challenge of helping in small ways at times with the animals. I think maybe I missed my calling!
One of the things that impresses me the most about Tasman Bay Vets, is the unwavering passion and commitment shown by all staff for the care of animals, be them large or small. Every animal that comes into the clinic is treated with love and kindness.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy time spent with my daughter, Roxanne and 5 year old grandson, Nico. I also perform most weekends in a popular covers band called Ricochet. Apart from that, relaxing, listening to music, cooking and reading would be my favorite things to do.
I bought a property locally which has enabled me to increase my small animal holding :-) and I now have now have 3 dogs, a Shitzu called Havoc, a Rotweiller called Poppy and a Ridgeback/Staffy called Jess. I have 4 cats all Moggies, they are Ziggy, Zak, Pixie and Midge.
